  1. The technique used in the easel card with acrylic paint and PVA glue is copied in this suitcase.  Starting off with Black paint paint both inside and outside of the suitcase, then only concentrate on the outside.  Put PVA glue on the suitcase then immediately put on ash brown paint. I did this in sections so I would not get the paint all over my work surface.   Heat, which will make it become distressed.  With a piece of cut and dry foam put Black soot and walnut stain distress ink over the paint, then wipe off with a piece of kitchen towel - dry and wipe off excess.  This should leave the suitcase looking shabby.  Leave to dry.
  2. Take the acrylic tags and cover each side with a rectangle of backing paper.  Make both sides the same so it covers the front and back in the same positions.  Cut the rectangles slightly smaller than the tag so you can see the transparency.
  3. Cut out the antique lace die and glue onto your project.
  4. Add the embellishment words.
  5. Cut out the sizzix flower, dip into the clear embossing ink and sprinkle embossing powder over the flowers. Heat. Repeat this 2 times. Take a further background stamp and stamp onto the embossed flower and sprinkle another embossing powder over it.   Heat.  You now have a pattern on the flower.    Stick the flowers onto the tags.
  6. Take the tissue paper and stamp a flower onto it at random.  Sprinkle embossing powder onto the images and heat.  Scrunch the tissue paper up and place in the suitcase.  Place the tags on the tissue paper so that the lid stays upright.
  7. Take a piece of metal chain and add metal embellishments on it and drape over the suitcase.
  8. Add stickers or embellishments to the outside of the suitcase.  Distress them with the ink if required.
  9. Add a paper embellishment tag to the handle of the suitcase.
