Wish Me Luck

Hi Everyone

A further sneaky peek at a card I have made for the stand at the NEC.

 Materials Used:
  1. Take a 6 x 6 ins card.
  2. Take a piece of 6 x 6 ins watercolour paper and brush onto it watered down blue and brown markers/distress inks to make a sand/sea effect.  Do not be particular, just layer it on.
  3. Cut a 3/4 circle on the right side of the backing paper.
  4. Place the acetate and the watercolour paper behind it.  Use an antistatic bag over the acette in case of dirty fingermarks. Stamp in versamark the little boy and boat where you think it looks best on the acetate with the blues and browns you have water coloured.  Move the watercolour paper around until you get the desired effect.
  5. Sprinkle bark embossing powder on the acetate and heat set.
  6. Glue all three layers together.
  7. Cut a strip of the backing paper as a tag and stamp 'Good Luck' onto it.
  8. Glue onto the front of the card with a button and string embellishment to the right of the tag.
  9. Place a bow down the left side of the card.
  10. Stamp the bird onto acetate and cut out.  Glue onto the card where you wish.
