Prom' 13

Hi Everyone

I have chosen the theme of my daughters Prom this year and printed photos in black and white to compliment the colour swatch of pinks and browns.

I firstly got a lot of scrap pieces of patterned cardstock and cut strips, 'grunging' some of the edges with a Tim Holz edging tool.  Then got out my Bo Bunny, Hot off the Press and Paper Artsy background stamps and  used  London Fog and Espresso Truffle memento ink to stamp with.

I followed the sketch (with a little of my own interpretation of course) and for embellishments used little pegs, purple raffia paper, felt letters, press studs, and a bobbin reel.

I highlighted areas of the patterned papers with a WOW embossing pen and heat set with WOW holographic embossing powder..  I printed the sentiment out onto parchment paper and heat set with WOW clear embossing powder.  I then tore the parchment around the edges.

The sentiment is from the internet:

Months of dreaming, Weeks of planning, Day of shopping, Must be Prom
Beautiful dresses, Gorgeous hair, Perfect Nails, Must be Prom
Handsome couples, Colourful flowers, Special pictures, Must be Prom
Contagious laughter, Favoriate music, Hours of dancing, Must be Prom
Sleepless nights, Endless friendships, Timeless memories Must be Prom

Take care...Sue
